GroxStudio Support

Help with setup, updates, licensing, and everyday troubleshooting.

Contact support

Use the SwiftDev contact page (or email hello@swiftdev.dev) and include “GroxStudio” in the subject or brief.

Include a short description of the problem, your macOS version, your GroxStudio version, and your Support ID when the issue involves licensing.

Do not send passwords, complete payment-card numbers, Grok credentials, secret values, or private project files.

Find your Support ID

  1. Open GroxStudio → Settings → License.
  2. Locate Support ID.
  3. Select Copy and paste it into your email when needed.

The Support ID is a random identifier used for licensing. It is not your name or email.

Licensing

If your access looks out of date, open Settings → License and choose Refresh License.

For recovery help, send the Support ID shown in the app and the billing email used at checkout, if applicable.

App updates

GroxStudio can check for updates automatically, or you can choose Check for Updates from the app.

If an update check fails, confirm your network connection and try again. You can also visit the latest GroxStudio DMG.

Troubleshooting checklist

  • Confirm you are on a supported macOS version for the build you installed.
  • Confirm the official Grok CLI is installed and signed in with your xAI account.
  • If chats fail to start, check Grok CLI status in the app toolbar or Settings.
  • For licensing issues, copy the Support ID and try Refresh License.
  • When reporting a bug, attach relevant logs from Help → Reveal Log Folder rather than pasting secrets or full project trees.

Local diagnostics stay on your Mac until you choose to share them. See the Privacy Policy for what remains local versus what is sent to xAI.
